We are seeking a confident and friendly Assistant Manager who can remain relaxed and composed whilst supporting our team to deliver not only excellent everyday service but also special occasions.  

You will work alongside the General Manager and Owner and their small but friendly team. You should have a minimum of 2 years experience of working in a Hotel, Pub or Restaurant. You’ll also need supervisory experience as you’ll be leading service at least twice a week.

• Work with the pub management to ensure the business runs efficiently and profitably.
• Opening and closing and cashing up.
• Keep the bar fully stocked and tidy ready for busy periods
• Everyone’s first port of call, keeping a level head and letting the whole team know what needs to be done
• Be able to think on the spot and use your own initiative
• Be able to plan and manage the diary for diners and events
• Accountable for the smooth running of shifts and managing all aspects of the pub when pub management are away

Wages are above National Living Wage and negotiable, depending on experience. Every member of staff receives a share of tips and all tips go directly to our staff.

This is a permanent position with full-time hours (can be negotiable)

There is free onsite parking and applicants should have their own transport due to our location 2 miles outside of Sleaford.
