A note from the Landlord…

Hello everybody. 2021 dawns and we find ourselves in Tier 4. There is little we can say about this sad situation except, as always, we are alive to talk about it.

Despite everything there is now real hope for the future with the various vaccines being rolled out to the worldwide population. As for when The Horseshoes will be open…Tier 1, as we have said previously, from a financial point of view is the only sensible option.

If we are at some point put into Tier 2 we will review the situation. If they drop the ludicrous substantial meal with alcohol sales then we would be back open 7 days a week, even in Tier 2.

The next Tier Review is mid-January when we will probably still be placed in Tier 3 or Tier 4. If that is the case the next Landlord’s Note will be very late January or very early February.
