We are very happy to be one of the sponsors of Michael Kay’s fundraising and support for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.

Michael was very ill for some years and, like many thousands of people, says he owes his life to the NHS. By way of saying thank you he has set out to raise £5,000 and raise awareness of the work that the Air Ambulance does in helping people with life threatening illness or injury.

Michael is undertaking 3 challenges. The first, which takes place this Saturday 15th June, is to walk from Stamford to the Humber Bridge in 24 hours. He will be supported along the way by Theraplate Therapy as he walks a staggering 90 miles which is, in itself, a major challenge.

His second challenge at the end of June is to complete the Yorkshire 3 Peaks which he aims to do in 12 hours or less. Once again, another major challenge!

These events lead to his ultimate challenge in September of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. He plans to reach the summit of the highest peak in Africa on the morning of the 8th day and complete his descent by the 10th day.
