Flaming June has arrived and temperatures are in the 70s with people sitting outside enjoying a drink in the lovely weather, as opposed to sitting outside wearing an overcoat trying to keep warm.
June 21st is only 19 days away when all Covid-19 restrictions will be lifted. At least that is everyone’s dearest wish. Whether this actually happens in view of recent events we shall have to wait and see.
Tuesday 29th June at 8pm sees the return of our monthly quiz. This will happen whether all Covid-19 restrictions are relaxed or not. We would ask people who wish to take part to please call us on 01529 414092 to book a table.
As usual, entry is £3 per person. £2 of this goes to the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance and the balance on prizes.
We have now started to take bookings for Christmas Day Lunch and the ‘Carols at The Horseshoes’ date has been confirmed as Tuesday 21st December at 6.30pm. The Christmas Family Quiz is on 28th December at 7pm.
New parasols are on order for the garden area, green with gold lettering, and should arrive in June. How nice it was to see so many old customers back in May and we welcomed many new faces. Thank you to everyone.
Let us hope for a lovely summer with a return to a more happy feeling for everyone.
