Hello Everybody,
Here we are on 1st February. Where did January go?!
We are now into the 2nd week of our refurbishment of the restaurant which we will have completed by 18th February. This needs to happen as we have an event booked on the 19th and, of course, the return of the quiz on 22nd February.
We already have about 60 quizzers booked in so please, if you wish to take part, book as soon as possible. As usual if you have booked and find you can no longer attend, then please let us know. All the usual features of the quiz will be there, including the 1-2-1 question which will start off with a prize of £60.
With the kitchen being fully staffed from 1st February we hope to start our Sunday lunches sometime in March and extend our weekday kitchen hours to include Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
In March we will host our first Monthly Special which will be a BBQ Texas Night with ribs n wings, corn on the cob, jacket potatoes and such. We’ll confirm the date soon.
Whilst the government have dropped most of the Covid restrictions The Horseshoes staff will still wear masks when serving at tables, all the tables will be sanitized after use and the hand sanitizer stations will remain in place. The bar stools will not be put back in place yet, this will be reviewed as we get into the better weather in Spring and Summer.
As mentioned earlier our restaurant refurbishment will be completed by 18th Feb but in the mean time we’ve got some progress photos to share with you.
Our next guest beer, once Tribute has come to an end, will be Bateman’s Hooker to coincide with the Six Nations Championship.
